Wie bereits im letzten Jahr, so gibt es auch im Jahre 2008 einen Pop Poll - und zwar sowohl für die besten Songs als auch Alben. Die Liste der Singles fällt diesmal um einiges länger aus, was jedoch nicht bedeutet, dass 2008 ein besseres Musikjahr war als 2007. Wieder einmal gab es viele Newcomer, allen voran Bands aus UK. Aber auch die Sängerinnen haben dem Kalenderjahr ihren Stempel aufgedrückt - Amy Winehouse, Gabriella Cilmi und Duffy lassen grüßen. Ich hoffe, dass dieser Pop Poll 2008 als Vorlage für das eine oder andere Mixtape dienen wird.
